# Additional Objects

**Open additonal objects panel**

Additional objects help you visualise the size of your model and take a virtual tour.

Choose between vehicles and people, then drag the avatars to the required location.

### Placing, Moving and Deleting Additional Objects

After placing an avatar, you can move it and rotate it horizontally by dragging the corresponding icons.

You can select an avatar at any time, whether the avatar menu is open or not.

### General Controls

If you select an avatar and enter **Walk mode**, you can walk or drive around using the selected avatar.

**Delete current object**

All avatars that are not saved in a configuration file are lost when the program is closed.

**Drop to ground** moves the bottom of the avatar to the nearest surface above or below with a single click.

You can **Toggle collision in walk mode**.

### Walk Mode

* To navigate, hold the left mouse button and drag the mouse, or use your finger on a touch device.
* To switch to another avatar already placed in the model, click it and continue moving.
* You can also use the **W, A, S, D** keys on devices with a keyboard.
* To move up, press **Space**. To descend, press **Shift + S**.

### Camera

Move the camera behind, or slightly in front of, the avatar. Similar to inverse clipping mode, this ensures an unobstructed view of the additional object.

### Steps

Your avatar moves up or down to surfaces that are not too high or too low.
This allows you to walk up and down stairs.
