# Project Tree

> The tree bar or tree window remains visible even when you open a PDF, P&ID, or isometric.

Click the **Settings** button. You can then switch between the tree view and the tree bar:

**Toggle tree view/tree bar** places the project tree in the menu on the right.

**Tree bar** places the project tree at the top of the main window. You can choose attributes to generate a different project tree automatically.

**Configure project tree**: each attribute defines one level of the project tree.

**Example:**

Using **Material** and **Date created** displays all objects grouped by material and then by creation date.
